Terms of Use
1. Premises and Provider Identification
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the CKM Finance Personal mobile application ("App" or "Service"), provided by:

2. Acceptance of Terms
By using the App, you declare that you have:
- Read, understood and fully accepted these Terms
- Reviewed the Privacy Policy
- Met the minimum age requirements (see Section 10)
- The legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
If you do not accept these Terms, you may not use the App.
3. Fundamental Disclaimer — Please Read Carefully
The App provides exclusively estimates, indicative calculations and information for illustrative purposes only, based on data entered by the user and tax regulations available at the time of processing. Information provided by the App:
- Does not constitute professional tax, legal or financial advice
- Does not replace the opinion of a Chartered Accountant, Tax Consultant or other qualified professional
- May not reflect your individual tax situation in its entirety
- May not be updated in real time with the latest regulations
For any important tax, asset or financial decision, always consult a qualified professional.
4. Description of Service
4.1 Basic Features (Free Plan)
The free plan includes:
- Management of a limited number of accounts, assets and categories
- Recording of income and expenses
- Balance and transaction history view
- Basic tax estimate
- Limited access to the AI assistant
4.2 Premium Features (PRO Plan)
The PRO plan unlocks all advanced features, including:
- Unlimited accounts, cash registers and assets
- Complete tax calculation (income tax, flat-rate rent, property tax, capital gains, etc.)
- 24-month budget forecasts
- Advanced property management and B&B yield calculation
- Open Banking (bank account connection via PSD2)
- Unlimited AI document scanner
- AI assistant with expanded monthly credits
- Tax calendar with personalised alerts
PRO Plan prices are shown in the App and are subject to change. Subscriptions are managed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective policies.
5. Account and User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential
- You are responsible for all activities carried out through your account
- Sharing your account with other users is prohibited
- You must immediately notify any unauthorised access to [email protected]
- You warrant that data entered in the App is truthful and up to date
- Using the App for illegal, fraudulent or third-party rights-infringing purposes is prohibited
6. Subscription Plans and Payments
6.1 PRO Subscription
The PRO Plan is available with various billing options (monthly, annual) whose current prices are shown in the App. Payment is made via the in-app purchase system of the relevant platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
6.2 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at expiry unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal via platform settings (App Store/Google Play).
6.3 Refunds
Refunds are handled directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) in accordance with their respective policies. CKM Finance does not directly manage refunds for in-app purchases.
6.4 AI Credits
AI credits assigned monthly to PRO users are non-cumulative, non-refundable and expire at the end of the monthly subscription period.
7. Artificial Intelligence Features
The App integrates AI features (powered by Anthropic Claude) for:
- Conversational financial assistant
- Automatic analysis and categorisation of transactions
- Receipt and document scanner with OCR
AI responses are automatically generated and do not constitute professional advice. The AI may make errors. You are responsible for verifying and validating any information provided by the assistant before making decisions.
Conversations with the AI may be processed by Anthropic in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to the App, including but not limited to source code, design, trademarks, logos, text and content, are the exclusive property of CKM Finance
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute or sell the App or any part of it
- Reverse engineer the code
- Use the "CKM Finance" trademark without written authorisation
- Create derivative works based on the App
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App for personal use only.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CKM Finance shall not be liable for:
- Financial losses arising from use of the App's tax or financial estimates
- Decisions made by you based on information provided by the App or AI
- Service interruptions due to maintenance, technical failures or force majeure
- Data loss due to malfunction of your device
- Indirect, consequential or punitive damages of any kind
- Errors in tax calculations due to incomplete or incorrect data entered by you
- Legislative changes not yet incorporated in the App
The maximum aggregate liability of CKM Finance towards you shall in no event exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the last 12 months.
10. Minimum Age and Legal Capacity
Use of the Service is permitted for persons who have reached:
- 16 years of age in the European Union and United Kingdom
- 13 years of age in the United States (with parental consent up to age 18 for certain features)
- 18 years of age in the United Arab Emirates
In any case, some features (e.g. Open Banking, paid subscriptions) require the user to have reached the age of majority under the law of their country of residence.
11. Termination and Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time via:
- The "Delete account" feature in App Settings
- A written request to [email protected]
CKM Finance reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of breach of these Terms, with notice except in cases of urgency or serious violations.
Upon deletion, all your data will be erased within 30 days, subject to any legally required retention obligations.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Italian court, unless mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to you provide otherwise.
For users resident in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions under the law of the user's country of residence shall apply.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms. In case of material changes:
- We will send an in-app notification with at least 30 days' notice
- For significant changes, we will require a new explicit acceptance
- Continued use of the App after notification constitutes acceptance of the changes
